Dr. Jonathan Ohnn, also known as The Spot, is a character featured in the movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. He first appears in this film, serving as a prominent antagonist.
Originally a scientist working for Alchemax, Ohnn was responsible for activating the Super Collider which resulted in Miles Morales becoming Spider-man. During an attempt to overload the collider, Ohnn was bombarded with interdimensional energy, transforming him into The Spot. His body became covered in interdimensional portals, or "spots," which he can use to teleport himself and objects.
Driven by a desire for power and revenge against Spider-Man, The Spot sees these powers as being given to him by Spider-man and uses his abilities to pose a multiversal threat, jumping between realities and becoming increasingly powerful. As his powers continue to grow, he becomes an even more dangerous foe for Spider-Man and the Spider-People.
